The RAM-VB-202-A-SW1 Ford Ranger No-Drill Laptop Mount installs quickly using the existing passenger seat hardware with no drilling required. Designed for Ford Ranger (2019–Current), Ford Explorer (2020–2025) and Ford Bronco (2021–2026), this mounting system also serves as a Ford Explorer Laptop Mount and Ford Bronco Laptop Mount for professionals who need a secure mobile workspace.
This Ford Ranger No-Drill Laptop Mount features a telescoping pole with an adjustable height from 12″ to 18″, dual swing arms for convenient driver and passenger access, and RAM® ball and socket technology for superior adjustability and vibration damping. The included legacy RAM® Tough-Tray™ securely supports 10″–17″ laptops and is ideal as a Fleet Vehicle Laptop Mount for law enforcement, police, utility, service, and other commercial vehicles. Compatible accessories such as the RAM® Screen Support and USB Light help create a complete mobile office, while integrated mounting holes allow easy attachment of additional RAM® accessories.

- Will this mount work with the new 2026 Ford Ranger Raptor?
At this time, we have not yet confirmed compatibility between the RAM-VB-202-A and the 2026 Ford Ranger Raptor. To help determine compatibility, please measure the passenger-side seat bolt spacing. This mount is designed for vehicles with a seat bolt distance of 11.5″ to 12″ (center to center).
- Will this mount fit a Getac MDT?
Yes, the RAM-VB-202-A-SW1 includes a universal RAM® Tough-Tray™ designed to fit a wide range of laptops and mobile data terminals (MDTs). We recommend measuring your Getac MDT and comparing its dimensions with the Tray Dimensions listed under the Specifications section of this product page to ensure a proper fit.
- Will this mount work with a 2017 Ford Explorer?
No. The RAM-VB-202-A-SW1 is designed for 2020 and newer Ford Explorer models.
For 2011–2019 Ford Explorer vehicles, we recommend the RAM-VB-187-SW1 No-Drill Laptop Mount, which is specifically designed for those model years.
- Is this mount compatible with my 2022 Ford Explorer?
Yes. The RAM-VB-202-A-SW1 is fully compatible with the 2022 Ford Explorer, providing a secure no-drill mounting solution that installs using the factory passenger-side seat bolts.
- What's the difference between the RAM Mount SW1 and SW3 laptop systems?
The primary difference between the SW1 and SW3 laptop systems is the included laptop tray.
The SW1 system includes the original RAM® Tough-Tray™ (RAM-234-3), while the SW3 system includes the newer RAM® Tough-Tray™ III (RAM-234-7).
