Order Status
Has my order shipped?
Most small packages and items are shipped via USPS. Tracking information is sent using the email address provided during order placement and will be sent from STAMPS.COM with the tracking information provided. NOTE: The Order Status will not show the tracking information generated by STAMPS.COM.
Orders shipped by FedEx will have a tracking number located on your Order Status. Click the “My Account” link at the top right hand side of our site to check your Order Status. You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 24-48 hours of shipment.
In Stock products as noted on the website are shipped within 24 hours of the next business day. Out of stock products as noted on our website are normally shipped within 1-3 weeks, depending on manufacturer lead time and placement of the order with the manufacturer. The Mount Depot will notify you if products become out of stock and will only process credit card payment upon order shipment. Please see each individual product page for more information on product availability.
How do I change quantities or cancel an item in my order?
Click the “My Account” link at the top right hand side of our site to view orders you have placed. Then click the “Change quantities / cancel orders” link to find and edit your order. Please note that once an order has begun processing or has shipped, the order is no longer editable.
How do I track my order?
Click the “My Account” link at the top right hand side of our site to track your order.
My order never arrived by the shipping carrier.
Orders are generally shipped by USPS or FedEx depending on size, weight, delivery method, etc.
Most small packages and items are shipped via USPS. Tracking information is sent using the email address provided during order placement and will be sent from STAMPS.COM with the tracking information provided. NOTE: The Order Status will not show the tracking information generated by STAMPS.COM.
FedEx shipped packages can be tracked by clicking the “My Account” link at the top right hand side of our site to track your Order Status. Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already. If your order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. If your order shows a status of “delivered,” please contact customer service by emailing support@themountdepot.com or calling (224)578-9162 for assistance.
If your item appears to be lost (delivery was never made by the carrier) shipping carriers may require up to 30 days to elapse from the time the shipment was sent before filing a claim or deeming the package lost. However, The Mount Depot will provide an advance replacement using ground delivery or the original delivery method selected if the package appears to be lost to minimize the inconvenience.
In the event an advance replacement needs to be sent The Mount Depot will need to authorize charges for the replacement items until the items are deemed unrecoverable by the shipping carrier. If the shipping carrier eventually delivers the lost shipment and The Mount Depot sends out a replacement, the customer will be required to send back the found shipment. The Mount Depot will pay for the return shipment.
My shipment is missing parts or items.
Click the “My Account” link at the top right hand side of our site to track your order status. Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped. If a factory sealed bag is missing parts contact RAM Mounts at (206) 763-8361 or email sales@ram-mount.com. RAM Mounts will directly ship missing parts to the customer. If an item is missing from the order please contact customer service by emailing support@themountdepot.com or calling (224) 578-9162 for assistance.
When will Out of Stock and Pre-Order items arrive?
Out of Stock items normally ship within 1-3 weeks depending on when the replacement order was placed and manufacturer availability. In the rare event that an item is displayed on the website as “In Stock” and is actually “Out of Stock”, The Mount Depot will notify you of the error by email using the email address used to place the order. All In Stock items will be shipped and the remaining item(s) shipped ground/parcel post by The Mount Depot at no additional charge. The order may also be modified if desired.
Pre-Order items are new items, not currently available by the manufacturer, that The Mount Depot has on order. Shipping dates, if supplied by the manufacturer, will be provided on the products page and are ONLY AN ESTIMATE and are subject to change. The Mount Depot will charge a small fee to handle any split shipments if desired by the customer (i.e. ship In Stock parts now and Pre-Order parts later). Payment will be processed for Pre-Order items once the order is placed as the expected delivery date of some Pre-Order items can exceed the date we are allowed to capture funds on credit cards.

How do I create an account?
1) Click the “Sign in” link at the top right side of our site.
2) Enter your email address.
3) Click the Register button.Then simply follow the prompts to complete setting up your account. Your information is NEVER sold to another company and is kept completely private. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information.
How do I edit my account information?
Click the “My Account” link at the top right hand side of our site to edit your account information.
I forgot my password.
Click the “Sign In” link at the top right hand side of our site. Under the login box you’ll see a link that says “Forgot your password? Click here.” That link will send an email with a link to reset your password.
I received the wrong product.
If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact customer service by emailing support@themountdepot.com or calling (224)578-9162 within 72 hours of receiving the product.
When will my order ship?
In-stock products as noted on our website are shipped the next business day (Monday – Friday, excluding holidays) when order placement is before 3:00 p.m CST. Out of stock products as noted on our website are normally shipped within 2-3 weeks of order placement. The Mount Depot will notify you if items become out of stock and will only process credit card payment upon order shipment.

Also, after placing your order, you may click the “My Account ” link at the top right hand side of our site to track the status of your order. You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped.
Return, Defective/Missing Parts and Canceled Order Policy
Defective Parts
RAM Mounts will replace defective products that are defective upon shipment, per their policy with authorized dealer to ensure the customer is directly receiving the replacement part in an expedited manner.

Complete the form on the website and contact us if you have any questions. As of December 10, 2008, RAM Mounts (National Products Inc.), products offer a limited lifetime warranty. Returned products must be new, unused, unopened, include all hardware, material, and packaging contents that were shipped with the original order shipment. If possible, package the returned products using the box and packing material that came with your original order.Where do I ship returns back to?The RMA number will contain the return shipping address.How long will it take for my account to be credited?The customer account will be refunded approximately within 3-5 business days. RAM Mounts will replace missing parts and generally ship out missing parts the same day. Please contact The Mount Depot and we will have RAM ship out the missing parts. In the event a part was not packaged with your order The Mount Depot will ship out the missing part. The Mount Depot must be notified about missing parts within 7 days from the receipt of your shipment.
What is the return and canceled order policy?

Can I return a product for refund or exchange purchased at The Mount Depot?
Yes. Products may be returned or exchanged within 14 days from receipt of your shipment. Products must be returned in new unused condition and include the original packaging contents. All product returns and exchanges must follow the guidelines in the “How do I return an item?” Return and Canceled Order Policy section.
What is the restocking fee for normally stocked items?
Products may be returned or exchanged for items equal to or greater in value are not subject to a restocking fee within 14 days from delivery of your shipment. Products must be returned in new, unused condition and include the original packaging contents including hardware and instructions (if applicable). Product returns without exchange are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Products that were altered or modified in anyway, including cosmetic blemishes from the original received state can not be returned, no exceptions. If a product is returned opened from the original factory sealed bag or without the packaging contents a restocking fee up to 15% may apply. Products returned in opened bags or boxes may, but need not be, determined to be used. Products that have been determined to be used or altered will be shipped back to the customer at their expense. If the items qualified for free shipping, shipping costs will be deducted from the returned amount.What is the restocking fee for bulk quantity, special order or items that ship directly from the manufacturer? A 25% restocking fee will apply to all items where a bulk quantity discount was provided (a price lower than listed on The Mount Depot.com), special ordered items (items not listed on The Mount Depot.com prior to ordering) and items listed as “Ships directly from the manufacturer”. This is due to the restocking fee charged by the manufacturer to return items. A minimum payment of 50%, unless other arrangements are required, is due for all bulk quantity orders, special order items or items shipped directly from the manufacturer. In addition the customer will pay all incurred shipping costs, both ways, for returned items plus the restocking fee.
Why is there a restocking fee?
The restocking fee is charged due to the merchant fees (Visa, Mastecard, etc.) charged to The Mount Depot for transactions. Merchant fees apply for initial transaction to receive money for the purchased goods by the merchant (Visa, Mastercard, etc) and then a fee to credit the amount to the credit card for the returned goods. The merchant fees charged to The Mount Depot applies to both the transaction fee for the initial purchase and the transaction fee for the return. These merchant fees charged to The Mount Depot are approximately 7% and the remaining 3% minimal fee is charged for administrative fees. Restocking fees for special ordered items not carried by The Mount Depot.com and bulk quantity orders are charged 20% due to the restocking fees charged to The Mount Depot by the manufacturer for returned items.What products are non-returnable?
Products that are non-returnable include items that have been altered and can not be resold or returned to the manufacturer. Items listed as closeout on The Mount Depot.com are non-returnable. Products found to be defective will be replaced by RAM Mounts (NATIONAL PRODUCTS, INC). Please read “I received my item and it’s defective. How do I get a replacement?” below.Canceled in-stock products orders
The Mount Depot.com will attempt to process canceled orders prior to the order being shipped. In the event the item is shipped, the customer will be responsible for all incurred shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee may apply.What should I do if my product was damaged in shipping?
The Mount Depot.com inspects all items prior to shipment. In the event the product is damaged in shipping please contact support@themountdepot.com for customer service. The Mount Depot will determine the fastest way to remedy the situation.Who pays shipping charges for returns or exchanges to The Mount Depot.com?
Shipping charges for products returned to The Mount Depot.com for either exchange or refund will be paid by the customer.Will I be charged for shipping costs if I return an order that qualified for free shipping?
Yes. If the product is returned and the order qualified for free shipping, the customer will be charged for the shipping costs incurred by The Mount Depot.com to ship the item. The shipping rate costs will be deducted from the customers refund.
If I exchange a product do I qualify for free shipping again if my original order qualified for free shipping?
No. If an original order qualified for free shipping, and a product exchange for equal or greater value is made, the customer will pay for all shipping charges incurred for the shipment to the customer and return to The Mount Depot.
How do I return or exchange a product?
Please contact The Mount Depot for an RMA number.
Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) form is required for all returns and exchanges. Please read “How do I return an item?” in the Return and Canceled Order Policy section for guidelines on returning a product and information on how to receive a RMA number.

The Mount Depot only ships within the United States.

When will my credit appear on my account?
Approved credits usually appear approximately within 3-5 business days.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged within 24 hours prior to shipment of your item(s). Special Order items (either noted on the website as a Special Order or via email by The Mount Depot) and bulk discounted purchases where special discounts are given will be charged in full once placing the order. Items noted as Pre-Order will be charged in full once the order is placed. The expected delivery date of some Pre-Order items can exceed the amount of time that The Mount Depot is allowed to capture funds for an authorized charge. Therefore, Pre-Order items are charged at the time of purchase. Please read the Return and Canceled Order Policy for information regarding restocking fees.

Getting It Right
When ordering a RAM mount system or additional components, it’s important that you understand the part number system. To help you understand the part number format used, we are providing the following example. It is four different sizes of a basic RAM mounting system including the corresponding arm, round base with ball.
RAM-D-101 & RAM-D-202 have 2.25″ balls (D size)
RAM-101 & RAM-202 have 1.5″ balls (C size)
RAM-B-101 & RAM-B-202 have 1″ balls (B size)
RAM-A-102 & RAM-A-238 have 9/16″ balls (A size)

Important: Be careful to make sure you have the letter in the proper location of the part number so you order the correct size system or component.
