Order Changes, Free Shipping and Order Tracking
How do I change quantities or cancel an item in my order?
Please contact us by email (preferred) support@themountdepot.com or calling (224)578-9162 for assistance changing or cancelling an online order. Please note that once an order has shipped, the order is no longer editable.
When will my order ship?
“In stock” products as noted on our website are shipped the next business day (Monday – Friday, excluding holidays) when orders are placed the previous day. The Mount Depot will notify you if items become out of stock.
“Available on back order” out of stock items indicated on our website normally ship within 2-5 weeks depending on when the stocking or new part order was placed and current manufacturer lead time. If an “Available on back order” product order is placed with “In stock” products, the “In stock” products will ship first, followed by the “Available on back order” products at no additional cost.

You will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information from ShippingEasy.com
How are qualifying Free Shipping orders shipped?
Qualified “Free Shipping” orders are shipped via USPS or UPS at The Mount Depot’s discretion. Please notify The Mount Depot if shipping to a PO Box to avoid delivery issues.
If you require a specific shipping carrier please select from the available shipping carrier options and delivery options.
Tracking information, whether USPS or UPS, is sent using the email address provided during order placement and will be sent from ShippingEasy.com with the tracking information provided.
How do I track my order?
Tracking information is sent to the email address provided during order placement and will be sent from ShippingEasy.com when the package is in transit and delivered.
NOTE: Additionally, click the “My Account” link at the top right-hand side of our site and view the Order details page. The Invoice or Packing Slip (upper right-hand corner of either) will display the carrier and tracking details. Please enter the tracking number at the carriers website for the latest information.
You will receive an email shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 24-48 hours of shipment dependent on when the carrier scans the package.
My order never arrived by the shipping carrier.
Please note orders with multiple items may be shipped from our two locations depending on availability and generally noted as “Split Shipment” on the packaging slip.
Using the tracking details provided by email notifications from ShippingEasy.com or the Invoice and Packing Slip (upper right-hand corner) located on the “My Account” link Order details page on our website. Please use the tracking number provided to look up specific delivery details from the carrier (www.ups.com or www.usps.com) such as signed by, delivered at door or mail receptacle, etc). Please check with neighbors for possible mis-delivery if the package shows delivered.
If your order shows a status of “delivered,” please contact customer service by emailing support@themountdepot.com (preferred) or calling (224)578-9162 for assistance.
If your item appears to be lost (delivery was never made by the carrier) shipping carriers may require up to 30 days to elapse from the time the shipment was sent before filing a claim or deeming the package lost. However, The Mount Depot will provide an advance replacement via Ground if the package appears to be lost to minimize the inconvenience. Customer assistance to file a carrier claim may be required.
In the event an advance replacement needs to be sent The Mount Depot will need to authorize charges for the replacement items until the items are deemed unrecoverable by the shipping carrier. If the shipping carrier eventually delivers the lost shipment and The Mount Depot sent out a replacement, the customer will be required to send back the found shipment. The Mount Depot will pay for the return shipment.
My shipment is missing parts or items.
Click the “My Account” link at the top right-hand side of our site to confirm all items were ordered on the Order details.
Please note orders with multiple items may be shipped from our two locations depending on availability. “Split Shipment” are normally noted on the packing slip and may arrive at different times.
If a factory sealed bag is missing parts contact RAM Mounts at 1-800-497-7479 or email support@rammount.com. RAM Mounts will directly ship missing parts to the customer per their policy to assist customers.
If an item is entirely missing from the order please contact customer service by emailing support@themountdepot.com (preferred) or calling (224) 578-9162 for assistance.
When will "Available on back order" items arrive?
“Available on back order” out of stock items indicated on our website normally ship within 2-5 weeks depending on when the stocking or new part order was placed based on manufacturer lead time.
All “In stock” items will be shipped and any remaining back ordered item(s) shipped when available by The Mount Depot at no additional charge. The order may also be modified if desired by the customer before The Mount Depot ships any back ordered items.

How do I create an account?
1) Click the “Sign in” link at the top right-hand side of our site.
2) Enter your email address.
3) Click the Register button.Then simply follow the prompts to complete setting up your account. Your information is NEVER sold to another company and is kept completely private. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information.
How do I edit my account information?
Click the “My Account” link at the top right-hand side of our site to edit your account information.
I forgot my password.
Click the “Sign In” link at the top right-hand side of our site. Under the login box you’ll see a link that says “Forgot your password? Click here.” That link will send an email with a link to reset your password.
Returns, Defective/Missing Parts and Canceled Order Policy
How do I return an item?
Returns and Canceled Order PolicyPlease read “What is the return and canceled order policy?” in the Return and Canceled Order Policy section for details regarding eligibility for product returns and if restocking fees apply.Must I request a RMA number for a return?YES. The Mount Depot will not accept product returns after this time period (55 days) under any circumstances.How must the returns be shipped back?Products must be shipped back referencing the RMA number provided (inside or outside the package) and a carrier tracking number. Its recommended returns be insured for the purchase price of the product. The Mount Depot will not refund returns that are lost or damaged by the shipping carrier under any circumstance. Returned products must be like new (i.e. no cosmetic or physical damage) and include all hardware and packaging contents that were shipped with the original order shipment. If possible, package the returned products using the box and packing material that came with your original order. Return and Canceled Order Policy
Can I return a product for refund or exchange purchased at The Mount Depot?
Yes. Products may be returned or exchanged within 45 days from receipt of your shipment. Products must be returned in new condition and include the original packaging contents (i.e. hardware, etc). All product returns and exchanges must follow the guidelines in the “How do I return an item?” Return and Canceled Order Policy section.
What is the restocking fee for online “In stock” orders?
Orders placed online for “In stock” products can be exchanged or returned within 45 days from receipt of your shipment with no restock fee. Incurred shipping costs will be deducted if the order qualified for free shipping. Products must be returned in like new, unused condition and include the original packaging contents including hardware and instructions (if applicable).
What is the restocking fee for purchase orders or “Available on back order” orders given discounted pricing?
“Available on back order” items placed online may be subject to a 10% restocking fee if the item isn’t typically stocked by The Mount Depot or special ordered for the customer.
Purchase orders or orders provided special business volume pricing may be subject to a 25% restocking fee, to cover associated manufacturer return fees. If the items ordered are in bulk, special ordered for the customer or an item typically not stocked by The Mount Depot.
Any product altered, cosmetically damaged or not in ‘new’ condition will not be credited, no exceptions. The Mount Depot doesn’t resale damaged merchandise and will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.
Any products returned (i.e. laptop systems, bulk purchases) where packaging content is opened, and parts returned with hardware missing, hardware shipped loosely in the box or all hardware packaged in one bag vs indvidual bags for The Mount Depot to sort through will not be fully credited or refunded. If the hardware pack can be purchaed, The Mount Depot will deduct the amount at dealer cost. If the hardware pack can’t be purchased the items will be non-returnable and shipped back to the customer at their expense.
What products are non-returnable?Products that are non-returnable include items that have been altered and can not be resold or returned to the manufacturer. Items listed as closeout on The Mount Depot.com are non-returnable. Products found to be defective will be replaced by RAM Mounts (NATIONAL PRODUCTS, INC). Please read “I received my item and it’s defective. How do I get a replacement?” below.Canceled “In stock” products orders
The Mount Depot.com will attempt to process canceled orders prior to the order being shipped. In the event the item is shipped, the customer will be responsible for all incurred shipping costs.What should I do if my product was damaged in shipping?
The Mount Depot.com inspects all items prior to shipment. In the event the product is damaged in shipping please contact support@themountdepot.com for customer service. The Mount Depot will determine the fastest way to remedy the situation.Who pays shipping charges for returns or exchanges to The Mount Depot.com?
Shipping charges for non defective products returned to The Mount Depot.com for either exchange or refund will be paid by the customer.Will I be charged for shipping costs if I return an order that qualified for free shipping?
Yes. If the product is returned and the order qualified for free shipping, the customer will be charged for the shipping costs incurred by The Mount Depot.com to ship the item. The shipping rate costs will be deducted from the customers refund.
If I exchange a product do I qualify for free shipping again if my original order qualified for free shipping?
No. If an original order qualified for free shipping, and a product exchange for equal or greater value is made, the customer will pay for all shipping charges incurred for the shipment to the customer and return to The Mount Depot.
How do I return or exchange a product?
Please contact The Mount Depot for an RMA number.
Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) form is required for all returns and exchanges. Please read “How do I return an item?” in the Return and Canceled Order Policy section for guidelines on returning a product and information on how to receive a RMA number.
Defective Parts and Warranty
RAM Mounts (National Products Inc.) will replace products received defective and during the product warranty period, per RAM Mounts policy with authorized dealers to ensure the customer is directly receiving the replacement part in an expedited manner.
To request a defective part replacement, complete the form located at https://rammount.com/pages/warranty or call RAM Mount at 1-800-497-7479 for assistance and the latest warranty information.

As of December 2025, RAM Mounts products offer a limited lifetime warranty for non-electrical products. RAM GDS, IntelliSkin, chargers and other electrical type products have their own warranty period (typically 3 years). Customer pays for shipping costs of replacement parts. See RAM Mounts website for full warranty details.
Missing Parts
The Mount Depot must be notified about missing parts within 3 days from the receipt of your shipment.
RAM Mounts will replace missing parts/hardware in sealed packages per their policy. RAM Mount generally ships out missing part(s) the next business day and can be directly contacted at 1-800-497-7479 or https://rammount.com/pages/warranty regarding missing parts.
In the event a part was entirely missing from your order, The Mount Depot will ship out the missing part directly. Please contact us (email preferred) support@themountdepot.com or phone (224)578-9162.
I received the wrong part.
If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact customer service by emailing support@themountdepot.com (preferred) or calling (224)578-9162 within 3 business days of receiving the product.
Please compare the parts received versus the parts ordered, available in “My Account” link at the top right-hand side of our site to confirm your order.
PLEASE NOTE: RAM Mount components, individual parts, that comprise of the entire RAM kit are frequently shipped out to make the kit. Please confirm if the components received make the full RAM kit.

The Mount Depot typically only ships within the United States. If your a business outside of the United States please contact us regarding your mounting needs for a quote.

The free ground shipping offer applies to shipping within the domestic United States on a single order containing item(s) totaling $25 or more before sales tax (Illinois and TX residents only pay sales tax).
Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices and their respective prices.
Can I use my UPS or FedEx Account?
For established relationships we can use your UPS (preferred) or FedEx shipping account.

Getting It Right
When ordering a RAM mount system or additional components, it’s important that you understand the part number system. To help you understand the part number format used, we are providing the following example. It is four different sizes of a basic RAM mounting system including the corresponding arm, round base with ball.
RAM-D-101 & RAM-D-202 have 2.25″ balls (D size)
RAM-101 & RAM-202 have 1.5″ balls (C size)
RAM-B-101 & RAM-B-202 have 1″ balls (B size)
RAM-A-102 & RAM-A-238 have 9/16″ balls (A size)

Important: Be careful to make sure you have the letter in the proper location of the part number so you order the correct size system or component.
