The RAM-VB-203-SW1 Chevy Silverado No-Drill Laptop Mount installs quickly using the existing passenger seat hardware with no drilling required. Designed for Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (2019–Current), Silverado 2500 HD (2020–Current), Silverado 3500 HD (2020–Current), GMC Sierra 1500 (2019–Current), GMC Sierra 2500 HD (2020–Current) and GMC Sierra 3500 HD (2020–Current), this mounting system also serves as a Silverado 2500 Laptop Mount, Silverado 3500 Laptop Mount, and GMC Sierra Laptop Mount for professionals who need a dependable mobile workspace.
This Chevy Silverado No-Drill Laptop Mount features a telescoping pole with an adjustable height from 12″ to 18″, dual swing arms for convenient driver and passenger access, and RAM® ball and socket technology for superior adjustability and vibration damping. The included legacy RAM® Tough-Tray™ securely supports 10″–17″ laptops and is ideal as a Fleet Vehicle Laptop Mount, Law Enforcement Laptop Mount, Police Vehicle Laptop Mount, Utility Vehicle Laptop Mount, and Service Vehicle Laptop Mount. Compatible accessories including the RAM® Screen Support and USB Light help create a complete mobile office, while integrated mounting holes allow easy attachment of additional RAM® accessories.

- Can someone sit in the passenger seat while this mount is installed?
Technically, someone can still sit in the passenger seat while the RAM-VB-203-SW1 is installed. However, the mount does take up a considerable amount of legroom, making the passenger seat less comfortable. If you need to quickly remove the mount to create additional passenger space, we recommend installing the RAM-VB-REM1 Remove-A-Pole™ Base, which allows the mounting system to be removed without uninstalling the base.
- Is this compatible with the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV?
The RAM-VB-203-SW1 is compatible with the following vehicles:
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (2019–2025)
Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD (2020–2025)
Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD (2020–2025)It is not designed for the Chevrolet Silverado EV. To verify compatibility with your vehicle, you can also compare the passenger seat bolt spacing. This mount supports a seat bolt distance of 17.5 inches (center to center).
- Does this work with bench seat and console pickups?
The RAM-VB-203-SW1 is designed for vehicles equipped with bucket seats and a center console. It is not compatible with bench seat configurations, as the mounting system attaches using the passenger-side seat bolts alongside the center console.
- Can I replace the laptop tray with a tablet holder?
Yes. The RAM-VB-203-SW1 can be converted into a tablet mounting solution by replacing the included laptop tray with any compatible RAM® tablet holder featuring the standard 4-hole AMPS mounting pattern. The adjustable swing arm provides a wide range of articulation, allowing you to position your tablet for comfortable viewing and operation.
- What's the difference between the RAM Mount SW1 and SW3 laptop systems?
The primary difference between the SW1 and SW3 laptop systems is the included laptop tray.
The SW1 system includes the original RAM® Tough-Tray™ (RAM-234-3), while the SW3 system includes the newer RAM® Tough-Tray™ III (RAM-234-7).
