DESCRIPTION

The RAP-B-121-BC1U is a composite clamp base mount assembly that will accommodate a rail or edge lip from 5/8 inch to 1.25 inches (commonly used in aviation applications). The assembly includes a standard sized length arm, diamond shaped adapter plate and holder for hand held devices and two way radios.

Socket Ball Size: B-Ball Size = 1.0 inch Ball. Maximum suggested weight 2 lbs.
Clamp Base Description: RAP-B-121BU composite clamp base mount accommodates a rail or edge lip from 5/8 inch to a maximum of 1.25 inches. The 1 inch rubber ball sits at a right angle to the plane of the mount so when connected to a rail, the ball sits parallel to the rail. To mount the base, simply place the clamps around the rail or edge and then screw the large knob at the end of the threaded rod. The hand tightened clamp makes this the perfect mounting system for rental planes and unusual shaped motorbike rails. The rail does not need to be perfectly round to use this base.
Arm Description: RAP-B-201U composite standard sized length arm for 1 inch balls. The arm measures 2.875 inches between socket centers (3.6875 inches in overall length). A plastic twist knob allows you to articulate the arm in any direction.
Adapter Description: RAP-B-238U composite universal diamond plate with two holes measuring 1.9 inches from hole center to hole center and accommodates the AMPS hole pattern.
Cradle/Holders: RAM-HOL-BC1U black high strength composite holder radio cradle. The Ram Mount universal belt clip is designed to hold any hand held device or carry case with a belt clip. The holder was originally designed to hold hand held radios with a built in belt clip, but will also hold the belt clip used on cell phone and MP3 players.
- The holder has a 1 1/8 inch long x 1/16 inch wide bar across the top with slightly raised support edges to stop the connected device from sliding off the holder.

Second Mounting Ball: Optional. Add the RAP-B-121BBU creating a double ball base. This 1 inch diameter ball allows a second mounting point to add additional accessories. The mounting point is located on top of the RAP-B-121BU base.
