The RAP-B-121-UN4U is a composite clamp base mount assembly that will accommodate a rail or edge lip from 5/8 inch to 1.25 inches (commonly used in aviation or golf cart applications). The assembly includes a standard sized length arm, diamond shaped adapter plate and universal finger gripping cradle.

NOTE: This cradle includes 3 sets of different sized arms that will fit devices within the dimensions listed below:
  • Cradle Height Clamping Dimensions:
    Minimum Height with Top and Bottom Plates: 5.25'' *
    Maximum Height with Top and Bottom Plates: 6.0'' *
    * The top and bottom plates can be removed for larger devices.

  • Socket Ball Size: B-Ball Size = 1.0 inch Ball. Maximum suggested weight 2 lbs. 
  • Clamp Base Description: RAP-B-121BU composite clamp base mount accommodates a rail or edge lip from 5/8 inch to a maximum of 1.25 inches. The 1 inch rubber ball sits at a right angle to the plane of the mount so when connected to a rail, the ball sits parallel to the rail. To mount the base, simply place the clamps around the rail or edge and then screw the large knob at the end of the threaded rod. The hand tightened clamp makes this the perfect mounting system for rental planes and unusual shaped motorbike rails. The rail does not need to be perfectly round to use this base.
  • Arm Description: RAP-B-201U composite standard sized length arm for 1 inch balls. The arm measures 2.875 inches between socket centers (3.6875 inches in overall length). A plastic twist knob allows you to articulate the arm in any direction. 
  • Adapter Description: RAP-B-238U composite universal diamond plate with two holes measuring 1.9 inches from hole center to hole center and accommodates the AMPS hole pattern.
  • Cradle/Holders: RAM-HOL-UN4U plastic finger grip cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of cell phones (Blackberry and iPhones, smarthphones, etc.) and electronic devices such as GPS (Garmin eTrex, nuvi) and MP3 players. This is a popular holder for ATVs and motorcycles. The RAM-HOL-UN4U has four rubber coated finger placed along the side of the cradle that grips any electrical device you need to hold.  The bottom of the cradle has a plate that provides additional support to the electronic device being held.
  • Second Mounting Ball: Optional. Add the RAP-B-121BBU creating a double ball base. This 1 inch diameter ball allows a second mounting point to add additional accessories. The mounting point is located on top of the RAP-B-121BU base.

The composite glareshield/yoke mount will fit a rail or edge lip from 5/8" to a maximum of 1 1/4". The mounting base can also accept a second ball RAP-B-121BBU giving you the ultimate double ball base. To mount the base, simply place the clamp ends around the rail and then screw the large knob at the end of the threaded rod. The hand tightened clamp makes this the perfect mounting system for rental planes, golf buggies or unusual shaped motorbike rails.
