DESCRIPTION

The RAP-274-1-UN4U is a high strength composite rail mount/handlebar base (mountain or road bike most common applications) with a universal finger gripping cradle. This finger gripping cradle holds many different type of electronic devices securely including smartphones, 2 way radios, eTrex, and GPS systems. 

NOTE: The RAM-HOL-UN4U includes 3 sets of different sized length arms.

The RAM-HOL-UN4U cradle will fit devices within the following dimensions:

Cradle Height Clamping Dimensions:
Minimum Height with Top and Bottom Plates: 5.25'' *
Maximum Height with Top and Bottom Plates: 6.0'' *
* The top and bottom plates can be removed for larger devices.

NOTE: This base is NOT RECOMMENDED for motorcycle or high vibration use.  An alternative would be the RAM-B-231 and RAM-B-149 rail mount u-bolt family of mounts.

Base Material: Black high strength composite.
Base Description: RAP-274-1U high strength composite handlebar base or universal round pipe rail base. The mount is popular for GPS, MP3 player, or cell phone. Designed to fit most common handlebar sizes, this compact and durable mount is ideally suited to the open road or trails. Uses common zip ties to attach to a variety of handlebar diameters. Made of high strength composite, it is light weight too. Adjustable to allow for the best viewing angle, this product is perfect for any cyclist and their compact electronic device.
NOTE: Mount includes 12 degree tapered shaft for tapered handlebars.
Diamond Plate: Diamond plate will connect to any of the RAM holders/cradles (RAM-HOL-xxxx). The diamond plate has two holes positioned 1.912 inches center to center and is compatible with the AMPS hole pattern.
Cradle: Included RAM-HOL-UN4U plastic
finger grip cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different
kinds of cell phones (Blackberry, Droid, iPhones, etc.) and electronic
devices such as GPS (Garmin eTrex, nuvi) and MP3 players.  This is a
popular holder for ATVs and motorcycles. The
RAM-HOL-UN4U has four rubber coated finger placed along the side of the
cradle that grips any electrical device you need to hold. The bottom
of the cradle has a plate that provides additional support to the
electronic device being held.
Quick Release: NOT INCLUDED. RAM offers a part shown below to adapt the RAP-274-1U to a standard RAM ball and socket mounting system RAP-274-1BU which is ideal for taking your mounted device from your bicycle to another vehicle. The RAM-274-1U will adapt to any cradle that contains a diamond hole pattern.
