Overview
The Locking GDS Tough-Dock iPad provides a secure, spring-loaded vehicle docking solution for compatible Apple tablets wrapped in an IntelliSkin® Next Gen protective sleeve. This Keyed GDS iPad dock uses a keyed locking system and integrated pogo-pin connector for high-speed charging through its USB Type-C female connector. The iPad Pro locking dock supports the iPad Pro 12.9″ 3rd–6th Gen, iPad Air 13 (M2, M3, M4), and iPad Pro 13 (M4 & M5).
The IntelliSkin iPad power dock uses a 4-hole AMPS pattern and 75 x 75mm VESA mounting pattern and works with compatible RAM ball and socket systems. The USB-C GDS vehicle dock also supports the GDS Hand-Stand Hand Strap and Kickstand attachment and carries a 3-year warranty.

RAM-GDS-DOCKL-AP37CPU is a locking GDS® Tough-Dock™ vehicle dock for compatible Apple iPad tablets. It uses a spring-loaded docking mechanism, keyed locking system and GDS® pogo-pin technology for charging.
- Which iPads are compatible with this GDS Tough-Dock?
It is compatible with the iPad Pro 12.9-inch 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th generations, iPad Air 13-inch M2, M3 and M4, and iPad Pro 13-inch M4 and M5, when used with IntelliSkin® Next Gen.
- Does this dock include IntelliSkin?
No. RAM states that IntelliSkin® Next Gen is not included with the dock. A compatible IntelliSkin sleeve is required for the supported iPad models.
- Does the RAM-GDS-DOCKL-AP37CPU lock the iPad?
Yes. The dock features a keyed locking system designed to secure the docked tablet.
- How does the iPad charge while docked?
The dock uses an integrated GDS® pogo-pin connection to provide charging to a compatible IntelliSkin-wrapped iPad. The dock receives power through its USB Type-C input.
