The RAP-B-102-121BU is a marine grade ALUMINUM clamp base mount assembly that will accommodate a rail or edge lip from 5/8 (.625 inch to 1.25 inches) and is commonly used in aviation applications. The assembly includes a COMPOSITE standard sized length arm and ALUMINUM 2.5 inch round adapter plate.

- Clamp Base Description: RAM-B-121BU marine grade aluminum clamp base mount accommodates a rail or edge lip from 5/8 inch to a maximum of 1.25 inches. The 1 inch rubber ball sits at a right angle to the plane of the mount so when connected to a rail, the ball sits parallel to the rail. To mount the base, simply place the clamps around the rail or edge and then screw the large knob at the end of the threaded rod. The hand tightened clamp makes this the perfect mounting system for rental planes and unusual shaped motorbike rails. The rail does not need to be perfectly round to use this base.
- Arm Description: RAP-B-201U composite standard length sized arm for 1 inch balls. The arm measures 2.875 inches between socket centers (3.6875 inches in overall length). A plastic twist knob allows you to articulate the arm in any direction.
- Adapter Description: RAM-B-202U marine grade aluminum 2.5 inch diameter found plate with pre-drilled holes. Accommodates the AMPS hole pattern.
- Hardware Included: No. Mounting hardware is not included. Most cradles and holders include mounting hardware to attach to the RAP-B-238U.
RAP-B-201U Additional Information: Black composite arm allows a 1 inch diameter ball accessory to be connected at either end. A tightening knob on the side of the arm enables the sockets to clamp firmly to the attached accessories. The arm allows for easy adjustment by loosening the side knob, a single spring inside the arm opens the sockets, allowing the arm to pivot on the attached accessory. This enables the arm and accessories to be positioned at various angles allowing the ultimate in position flexibility. Loosen the knob completely and the arm will disconnect from the accessories.
