The RAM-VBD-122-SW1 Universal Drill-Down Laptop Mount provides a secure and versatile mobile workstation for cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, and commercial vehicles. Designed for universal installation, this mounting system installs using self-tapping screws or by drilling and bolting the base directly to the vehicle floor, making it an excellent solution when a no-drill mounting option is not available. This Universal Drill-Down Laptop Mount features telescoping upper and lower poles for adjustable height, dual swing arms providing up to 12 inches of reach, and patented RAM® ball and socket technology for exceptional adjustability, shock absorption, and vibration isolation. - Does this SKU include the hardware needed to bolt the base down?
No, the hardware required to install this mount is not included. Because these are mounted to such a wide variety of vehicles and other applications we do not know what hardware to provide. The best resource for that type of information is usually a local hardware store or the manufacturer of the vehicle you are mounting to.
- Good morning, Are we able to mount more than one arm on a pole (RAM-VBD-122-SW1)? We have a tough book which will work for this but also have another display that needs to be mounted. Thanks
We offer a kit similar to the RAM-VBD-SW1 but instead of having an additional swing arm there is a flange built into the upper tele pole that will serve as an additional attachment point. The RAM-VBD-122-WEST1 has the double swing arm, as well as a double socket arm kit with a 75x75mm VESA plate that is compatible with many heavy duty tablets and monitors, or the VESA plate can be swapped out for the RAM-202U
if you’re using RAM device holders.
