NOTE: The RAP-B-149U is ideal for light weight applications such as mountain or road bikes. For motorcycle or high vibration applications the Marine Grade Aluminum RAM-B-149U (Stainless Steel U-Bolt) and RAM-B-149ZU (Zinc U-Bolt) is recommended.
RAP-B-149U
Includes the Following:

- Base: RAP-B-231U black composite handlebar or universal rail base will accommodate a rail diameter from .75 inches up to a 1.0 inch diameter. NOTE: For smaller diameters a piece of rubber wrapped around the rail can be used to secure the base around the rail.
- Arm: RAP-B-201U Black composite arm with plastic
twist knob. This is the standard
length arm for 1 inch balls. The arm measures 3 inches between
socket centers. A shorter arm RAP-B-201U-A, 1.75 inches from socket center to socket center, is available.
- Adapter: RAP-B-238U black composite universal diamond plate. Two holes measuring 1.9 inches
from center to center.
- Cradle: Optional. See below for additional options for Apple, GPS and universal cradles for cell phones and other electronic devices.
RAP-B-201U Description: Standard
length powder coated marine grade aluminum dual socket arm that measures 2.875
inches long from socket center to socket center and 3.6875 inches in total
length. This arm allows a 1 inch diameter ball accessory to be connected at
either end. A tightening knob on the side of the arm enables the sockets to
clamp firmly to the attached accessories. The arm allows for easy adjustment by
loosening the side knob, a single spring inside the arm opens the sockets,
allowing the arm to pivot on the attached accessory. This enables the arm
and accessories to be positioned at various angles allowing the ultimate in
position flexibility. Loosen the knob completely and the arm will disconnect
from the accessories.
RAP-B-238U Description: The
universal diamond plate is a powder coated marine grade aluminum plate
that measures 1.25 inches * 2.5 inches. This diamond plate connects to a
1 inch diameter rubber ball. The diamond plate has two holes positioned
1.9 inches from center to center. The hole pattern found on the diamond plate
will connect to a large variety of third party cradles and mounts (including
RAM holders RAM-HOL-xxxx) and including those with the industry standard AMPS
hole pattern.

Security and
Portability Options:
The RAP-326 quick release adapter allows
the cradle to be easily removed if sharing the electronic device between
applications (i.e. motorcycle to automobile). The RAM-KNOB-3LU is a popular option. A keyed twist lock knob replaces the twist knob on the RAP-B-201 series arm.
Screen
Magnification Options:
The RAM-MAG-1U is a screen magnifier that is 2
inches by 4 inches with a 2x zoom.
