If you need to mount something in your vehicle, but don't want to attach anything to your windshield or dash this is your answer! This base will support many existing RAM Mounts. Simply slide the RAM-A-CAN top and bottom caps over a soda can (best if full and unopened) and then slide the bottom of the RAM-A-CAN into your cup holder. If the cup holder in your vehicle doesn't hold the RAM-A-CAN tight, then slide the sleeve spacer included around the RAM-A-CAN. The spacer is a sleeve with small extension walls on the outside. The extension walls will compress slightly to allow a tight hold in the cup holder in your vehicle.
NOTE: This is a base, not a complete mount. An arm and cradle is required to complete the RAM-A-CAN (see below pictures). To complete this set the RAM-B-201U (most popular size arm) or RAM-B-201C (longer arm) can be used. Two RAM-B-238U are needed and any RAM plastic holder/cradle (RAM-HOL-xxxx) can be used for Apple, cell phones and GPS systems.
WARNING: DO NOT use sharp object to remove the sleeve from the can.
