RAM-VB-184T2-SW1 is a universal multi-function COMMERCIAL vehicle laptop mount system that includes the RAM-VB-184 vehicle base, RAM-101U-VE1 pivoting pedestal stand and RAM-234-6 Tough Tray 2 for Small to Medium sized electronic devices.

  • RAM-VB-184 Base U-Bolt Dimensions: Accommodates rail diameter tube from .625 inch to 1.5 inch diameter.
  • Description: Truck fleets world wide will appreciate the well crafted universal Multi-Function vehicle base now offered by RAM. Considering the wide variety of seating arrangements in the commercial vehicle market, this new vehicle base is reversible by design. Now installers don’t have to choose between locating a flat surface or round tubing to attach to under the vehicle seat. RAM has you covered with either configuration. Tubing framed seats can be attached to in minutes using the supplied u-bolts. Once in place and safely secured, several hole patterns are available allowing the freedom to choose how best to create your custom mounting solution. Steel box frame seats need only four discrete holes drilled to secure the base.
  • Hardware Included: Supplied u-bolt hardware, attach any number of RAM pedestal mounts to create a mounting system unmatched in its versatility and stability.
  • Hardware NOT INCLUDED: Hardware to secure the RAM-VB-184T-SW1 base to the flat surface is not included. 4 bolts/nuts are recommended to secure the base.
  • Pedestal Stand Included: The RAM-101U-EV1 is is a pedestal stand that bolts to the RAM-VB-184 base. This universal stand has a pivoting base that allows the base to be secured to an angled horizontal or vertical surface. To see more detailed information on the RAM-101U-EV1 click here.

  • Tough Tray II Included: The RAM-234-6 Tough Tray II is smaller in size, compared to the original Tough Tray (RAM-234-3), making it more versatile in mounting various types of smaller laptops (netbooks), tablets and portable DVD players.
  • Tough Tray II Dimensions: The device dimensions the RAM-234-6 Tough Tray II will accommodate are listed below:
    • Tray Depth: 6.0 inch
    • Tray Thickness: 1 inch
    • Tray Width (Expansion): 8.56 inches to 12.31 inches
    • Side Clamp Arm Height: To 1 inch (maximum)
    • NOTE: RAM-234-6 and RAM-234-3 size comparison shown below.
     
  • Available OPTIONS (NOT INCLUDED) Shown Below:
    • RAM-234-S2U locking screen support secures the laptop screen in a locked position. Available for both RAM-234-3 and RAM-234-6.
    • RAM-234K1-4U flat side arms allow the laptop lid to close flat when not in use. NOTE: RAM-234-6 comes standard with 4 flat side arms.
    • RAM-234-5U power caddy secures power adapters and cords. Available for both RAM-234-3 and RAM-234-6.
