| The RAM-HOL-UN1U is a side clamping cradle that is designed to hold a large amount of small electronic devices including cell phones, MP3 players and other electronic devices such as the iPod.
This cradle has padded locking side clamps that close tightly on the item you want to hold. To release the clamp hold, simply press the button found at the bottom left side of the cradle which will spring the clamps open. At the base of the cradle are two small supports to hold the bottom of the item securely in the cradle.

NOTE: The top of the cradle is open allowing items in the cradle to be larger than the height of the cradle.
If you require a different sized side clamping cradle there are three other options available the RAM-HOL-UN2U (Medium Size), RAM-HOL-UN3U (Large Size) and the RAM-B-120B (Aluminum Cradle Large Size) cradle.

The legs support the bottom of the item securely in the cradle, while allowing cable connection to the unit.
The RAM side clamping cradle is designed to be used in a closed cabin environment. The side clamping cradle is only a light weight cradle and may not hold your device in a high vibration situations as found on a motorcycle.

The quick release allows the electronic device to stay attached in the cradle while quickly being disconnected from the RAM-B-238U/RAM-238U and then re-attached to another mounting application using a RAM-B-238U/RAM-238U (i.e. motorcycle Garmin GPS device moved to automobile suction cup mount) without tools or disassembly! Requires RAP-326MU male adapter for the second application being attached to. The RAP-326FU mates to the RAP-326MU and the RAP-326MU mates to the RAM-B-238U/RAM-238U.
 Optional RAM-KNOB-3LU keyed lock for RAM-B-201 series arms shown above. Replaces the twist knob on the arm with a keyed lock. Works great with directly mounted applications such as aqua boxes or when the adapter is directly secured to the electronic device.
