Arm Design: The RAM-B-201U-A (RAM-B-201-A) powder coated marine grade aluminum short 1.75 inch double socket arm has a socket at both ends to allow a 1 inch diameter ball accessories to be connected at either end.
A tightening screw on the side of the arm enables the sockets to clamp firmly to a RAM 1 inch diameter ball. When loosening the side screw, the arm opens releasing the sockets allowing you to pivot the ball and socket connection or completely disconnect the ball from the socket.
The arm length is 1.75 inches when measured from socket center to socket center. The total length of the arm is 2.38 inches.
Camera Mount Plate: The
RAM-B-237U has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected to a male
1/4"-20 aluminum camera thread. This thread matches most standard
camera and video camcorder female threads found on the bottom of camera
and video cameras.
