The RAM-B-316-1-234-6U is a single leg pod mount (1.0 inch socket) with a high strength composite spring loaded expandable tray that fits many smaller sized electronic devices including many netbooks and the Apple iPad (with or without case or Otterbox).

NOTE: The RAM-316-1-234-6U is also available and recommended. The RAM-316-1-234-6U has a 1.5 inch socket system versus the 1.0 inch socket system found in the RAM-B-316-1-234-6U. The 1.5 inch socket system has a higher weight rating (10 lbs versus 5 lbs) and provides extra durability for a minimal price difference.

RAM-B-316-1-234-6U Includes the Following:
  • Warranty: Manufacturer's, RAM Mounts (National Products Inc.), Limited Life Time Warranty.
  • Base Description: Includes RAM-B-316-1-202U. The length of the leg measures 18 inches long when measured at a right angle to the base of the foot. The flexible 18 inch long leg has a foot with a mounting hole. Simply place the hole into the passenger seat mounting bolt and adjust the mount to the required height with the flexible leg.   • Socket Size: RAM "B" sized 1.0 inch socket system, Maximum suggested weight 5 lbs.
  • Tough Tray II Description: RAM-234-6 "Tough Tray II" is a high strength composite spring loaded expandable tray. The tray includes (4) standard retaining arms and (4) flat retaining arms. These arms can be moved both vertically and horizontally, allowing for a custom fit for varying thicknesses of laptops, tablets and other electronic devices. The Tough Tray II is smaller in size, compared to the original Tough Tray (RAM-234-3), making it more versatile in mounting various types of smaller laptops, tablets and portable DVD players. 
  • Tough Tray II Dimensions: The device dimensions the RAM-234-6 Tough Tray II will accommodate are listed below:
    • Tray Depth: 6.0 inch
    • Tray Thickness: 1 inch
    • Tray Width (Expansion): 8.56 inches to 12.31 inches
    • Side Clamp Arm Height: To 2.75 inch (maximum)
  • Included with RAM-234-6 Tough Tray II:

  • Power Caddy: RAM-234-5U attaches to the back of the Tough Tray II and holds power supplies and small accessories.
  • Screen Support: RAM-234-S2U attaches to the side of the Tough Tray II and secures the laptop lid in a fixed position.
  • Tray Lock: RAM-234-LK2U locks the electronic device into the Tough Tray II.
