Description
 
The RAM-B-238U-XM1U is a marine grade aluminum universal diamond plate with a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball and XM radio hardware for the following Delphi XM radio units:
  • Roady
  • Roady 2
  • SkyFi
  • MyFi

NOTE: The hardware only RAM-S-XM1U is also available without the diamond plate.

RAM-B-238-XM1U Features and Options:

  • Warranty: Manufacturer's, RAM Mounts (National Products Inc.), Limited Life Time Warranty
  • Plate Material: Black powder coated marine grade aluminum.
  • AMPS Hole Pattern: Yes. Two holes positioned 1.9 inches from center to center.
  • Harware: RAM-S-XM1U hardware kit is included.  A set of flat head screws and nut.
  • Plate Dimensions: 1.25 inches * 2.5 inches.
  • Plate Ball Size: Connects to a 1 inch rubber B sized ball.
  • Plate Description: RAM-B-238-XM1U universal diamond plate has two pre-drilled holes positioned at either tip of the diamond plate. The plate can be used to attach to any of the RAM Mounts composite holders (RAM-HOL-xxxx) and the industry standard AMPS hole pattern. . 
  • NOTE: To view holders that will accommodate the RAM-B-238-XM1U such as Apple, cell phones and GPS systems click here.
  • Plate Arm Options:
    • RAM-B-201U-A short "A" arm 1.75 inches from socket center to socket center, is available.
    • RAM-B-201U standard length arm 2.875 inches from socket center to socket center is available.
    • RAM-B-201U-C long "C" arm 5.1875 inches from socket center to socket center is available.

    • RAM-B-237U 1 inch ball with 1/4"-20 aluminum stud.

    • RAM-MAG-1U screen magnifier shown below for any RAM Mounts cradle/holder using the RAM-B-238U and RAM-238U. Screen magnifier measures 2 inches x 4 inches with a 2x zoom. 

       

  • Waterproof Aqua Boxes (shown below not included):
    • Waterproof Aqua Boxes can be connected to the RAM-B-238U.  However, the RAM-B-202U is more commonly used to connect to the waterproof aqua boxes.


                   
  • Security Options (shown below not included):
    • RAP-326 quick release adapter allows the cradle to be easily removed if sharing the electronic device between applications (i.e. motorcycle to automobile). 

                           

    • Optional RAP-326 quick release adapter shown above includes RAP-326FU female and RAP-326MU male adapters. The quick release allows the electronic device to stay attached in the cradle while quickly being disconnected from the RAM-B-238U and then re-attached to another mounting application using a RAM-B-238U (i.e. motorcycle Garmin GPS device moved to automobile suction cup mount) without tools or disassembley! Requires RAP-326MU male adapter for the second application being attached to. The RAP-326FU mates to the RAP-326MU and the RAP-326MU mates to the RAM-B_238U.
