The RAM-B-235U is a marine grade aluminum rail mount base with a 1 inch diameter rubber ball and two stainless steel u-bolts. Most commonly used as a rail mount base for marine applications.

Base Material: Black powder coated marine grade aluminum.
Base Ball Size: B ball sized 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball. 5 lb maximum weight. Please see the RAM-235U for heavier applications.
Base Description: RAM-B-235U universal round pipe rail base with two stainless steel u-bolts and 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball.
Hardware Included: Yes. Includes two rustproof stainless steel u-bolts, that will accommodate a rail diameter from .75 inch to 1.0 inch, and two sets of nuts with plastic caps. 
Base U-Bolt Options (Not Included): 
RAM-SU2512U larger stainless steel u-bolt allows a rail diameter from 1.0 to 1.25 inches. Works with the RAM-B-235U included nuts.

RAP-319 plastic u-bolt adapter allows the rail diameter to be reduced down to .5 inch when used with the RAM-B-235U included u-bolts.

1 Inch Socket Arms: Add an arm to the RAM-B-235U.

1 Inch Adapter Plates: Needed to connect to a RAM cradles/holders.
- RAM-B-238U used to connect to RAM cradles/holders (RAM-HOL-xxxx).
- RAM-B-202U used to connect to RAM waterproof aqua boxes.
- NOTE: The RAM-B-238U and RAM-B-202U are AMPS hole compatible.

Cradle / Holders: Select a holder for Apple, cell phones, GPS systems and other electronic devices by clicking here. All are compatible with the optional RAM-B-238U diamond plate. The diamond plate is needed to connect to the cradle/holder.

1 Inch Ball and Video Camera Adapters:
- 1 inch ball adapters attach to the RAM-B-201 series arm.
- RAM-B-237U 1 inch diameter ball with 1/4"-20 male aluminum stud.
- RAM-B-202AU 2.5 inch round plate with 1/4"-20 aluminum stud.

Waterproof Aqua Boxes: Waterproof Aqua Boxes with soft touch flex lens allows the touch screen of electronic devices such as iPhone or GPS devices to remain operational.
- Knock-out hole allows cables to be run through the back of the aqua box.
- The electronic device sits in the aqua box using included foam inserts. The RAM-HOL-xxxx cradle is not needed to secure the electronic device in the aqua box. Padlock not included.
- Can be mounted in the vertical or horizontal position.
- Attaches directly to the optional RAM-B-202U.

Self Leveling Cup Holder:
Includes foam insert and 1 inch rubber ball.
RAM-B-132BU cup holder only. Attaches directly to the optional RAM-B-201U arm.

Keyed Twist Lock Knob: RAM-KNOB-3LU replaces the plastic twist knob on the optional RAM-B-201 series arm. Provides extra security for directly mounted applications such as aqua boxes.
