IMPORTANT NOTE: The aqua box lens WILL NOT WORK WITH CAPACITIVE (swiping) TOUCHSCREENS such as those found on the iPhone. The aqua box lens WILL WORK with resistive touchscreens commonly used on GPS devices. The easiest way to figure out if your device will work with the aqua box lens is to wear a glove and see if you can operate your device. If you can your device will work with the aqua box lens.

• Optional Aqua Box Adapter: The optional RAM-B-202U is a 2.5 inch diameter plate with a 1 inch diameter rubber ball. The plate has pre-drilled holes (compatible with the AMPS hole pattern) and attaches to the back of the aqua box.

• NOTE: The RAM-B-238U adapter can be used. However, RAM recommends the RAM-B-202U.

• Universal 2.5 Inch Diameter Adapter Plate for RAM Aqua Boxes:
  • RAM-B-202U is a universal 2.5 inch diameter adapter plate that attaches to the back of RAM Aqua Boxes (RAM-HOL-AQxx). The RAM-B-202U is required to attach to any RAM 1 inch ball sized arm.
  • NOTE: The RAM-B-238U diamond adapter plate can be used. However, RAM recommends the RAM-B-202U.

However, RAM recommends the RAM-B-202U round plate adapter for Aqua Boxes.
