The RAM-316-3-234-6U is a three leg pod mount with a high strength composite spring loaded expandable tray that fits many smaller sized electronic devices including many netbooks and the Apple iPad.


NOTE: RAM-316-1-234-6 single leg base is shown above for illustration purposes. The RAM-316-3-234-6 includes the RAM-316-3-202U tripod base with three legs.

RAM-316-3-234-6 Includes the Following:
  • Warranty: Manufacturer's, RAM Mounts (National Products Inc.), Limited Life Time Warranty.
  • Base Description: Includes RAM-316-3-202U (RAM-POD III). The length of the RAM-POD III Leg Lengths are:
    • Length of Leg 1: 18 inches
    • Length of Leg 2: 20 inches
    • Length of Leg 3: 30 inches
       
Each aluminum leg has a mounting foot with a mounting hole. Simply place the holes into the passenger seat mounting bolts and adjust the mount to the required height with the flexible legs. The third flexible leg on the RAM Pod III should also be adjusted to help support the mount (normally up front under the dash on the passenger side).   • Mounting Plate Description: Attached to the RAM-316-3-202U is the RAM-101U assembly. The RAM-101U is 7.35 inches in length when fully extended and articulates/pivots to any position. The RAM-101U includes the RAM-202U which is compatible with the AMPS hole pattern. For more detailed information click on the product link above.
  • Tough Tray II Description: RAM-234-6 "Tough Tray II" is a high strength composite spring loaded expandable tray. The tray includes (4) standard retaining arms and (4) flat retaining arms. These arms can be moved both vertically and horizontally, allowing for a custom fit for varying thicknesses of laptops, tablets and other electronic devices. The Tough Tray II is smaller in size, compared to the original Tough Tray (RAM-234-3), making it more versatile in mounting various types of smaller laptops, tablets and portable DVD players. 
  • Tough Tray II Dimensions: The device dimensions the RAM-234-6 Tough Tray II will accommodate are listed below:
    • Tray Depth: 6.0 inch
    • Tray Thickness: 1 inch
    • Tray Width (Expansion): 8.56 inches to 12.31 inches
    • Side Clamp Arm Height: To 2.75 inch (maximum)
  • Included with RAM-234-6 Tough Tray II:

  • Power Caddy: RAM-234-5U attaches to the back of the Tough Tray II and holds power supplies and small accessories.
  • Screen Support: RAM-234-S2U attaches to the side of the Tough Tray II and secures the laptop lid in a fixed position.
  • Tray Lock: RAM-234-LK2U locks the electronic device into the Tough Tray II.
