The RAM-109V-234U is a dual swing arm style laptop mount that consists of a vertical mounting base, two 6 inch long straight swing arms (12 inches of travel) and RAM Tough Tray for medium to large sized electronic devices.

RAM-109V-234U Features:

  • Warranty: Manufacturer's, RAM Mounts (National Products Inc.), Limited Life Time Warranty.
  • Base Plate Included: RAM-109V-B shown below is a marine grade aluminum vertical base with 4 pre-drilled mounting holes. The connection between the swing and the base is a bolt pivot point. Mounting hardware is NOT included.
    

  • Arms Description: The dual swing arm mount consists of two 6 inch long straight swing arms mounted to the vertical surface mounting base and RAM Tough Tray. The RAM-VB-109-3U connects to the vertical mounting base. The RAM-VB-109-2U connects to the RAM-VB-109-3U and has a free open end socket. The RAM-VB-109-2U open socket is connected to a RAM-202U universal 2.5 inch diameter plate with a C sized 1.5 inch diameter rubber ball. The RAM-202U connects to the RAM-234-3 Tough Tray. Both swing arms rotate 360 degrees.

  • Mounting Plate Description: The RAM-202U is a black powder coated marine grade aluminum 2.5 inch diameter plate, with pre-drill holes compatible with the AMPS hole pattern, and C sized 1.5 inch diameter rubber ball. The rubber ball attaches to the RAM-VB-109-2U allowing the mounting plate to rotate and the flat side attaches to the RAM-234-3 Tough Tray.
   
  • RAM-234-3 Tough Tray Description: RAM-234-3 "Tough Tray" high strength plastic spring loaded expandable laptop tray. Accommodates laptops from 10-16 inches wide (screen sizes up to 17 inches). The tray includes four (4) side clamping arm with rubber grip feature. These arms can be moved both vertically and horizontally. This allows for a custom fit for varying thicknesses of laptops and the freedom of not blocking ports or drives. Hole patterns on perimeter of tray facilitate the mounting of additional RAM systems to support GPS, PDAs or other electronics.
  • RAM-234-3 Dimensions:
    • Tray Depth: 10.0 inches
    • Tray Thickness: 2.125 inches
    • Tray Width (Expansion): 10 inches to 16 inches NOTE: Works with 17 inch screens
    • Side Clamp Arm Height: 0.5 inch (min) to 1.75 inches (max) 
  • NOTE: If you need a smaller tough tray for small to medium sized devices such as netbooks please see the OPTIONAL RAM-234-6U Tough Tray below. This tray is compatible with smaller electronic devices.

RAM-234-3 Tough Tray Options (NOT INCLUDED):
  • Power Caddy: RAM-234-5U attaches to the back of the Tough Tray II and holds power supplies and small accessories.
  • Screen Support: RAM-234-S2U attaches to the side of the Tough Tray II and secures the laptop lid in a fixed position.
  • Tray Lock: RAM-234-LK2U locks the electronic device into the Tough Tray II.
