RAM-101-B-218-1U Includes the Following:
- Warranty: Manufacturer's, RAM Mounts (National Products Inc.), Limited Life Time Warranty.
- Color/Material: Black power coated marine grade aluminum.
- Socket Ball Size: C-Ball Size = 1.5 inch Ball. Maximum suggested weight 10 lbs.
- Base Plate: RAM-202U 2.5 inch diameter base with pre-drilled holes and 1.5 inch diameter rubber ball. The pre-drilled holes accommodate the AMPS hole pattern. Base mounting hardware not included.
- Arm: RAM-201U-B short length arm for 1.5 inch balls. The arm measures 2.25 inches between socket centers (3.5 inches in overall length). A plastic twist knob allows you to articulate the arm in any direction. A standard arm RAM-201U, 4.55 inches from socket center to socket center (5.625 inches in overall length), is available. Please see RAM-101-218-1U for the complete assembly.
- NPT Size: 1.5 inch C ball sized socket and .5 inch NPT female thread.
- NPT Description: RAM-218-1U The RAM-218-1U connects to any .5 inch NPT male thread, including the RAM-PA-82xx and RAM-PF-xxx NPT series. The single socket can connect to any 1.5 inch C ball sized accessory.
NPT Thread and Pipe Sizing: NPT (National Pipe Thread) is a standard used in joining pipes and fittings that have a tapered thread. As a general rule, the NPT inch size is the inside diameter of the threaded pipe and is known as the NPS (Nominal Pipe Size). The outer diameter (OD) of the pipe is shown in the table below:
- Overall Length: 5.25 inches at maximum extension and the mount is collapsible.

RAM-201U-B Options (NOT INCLUDED): The RAM-KNOB5LU shown below is a keyed lock and replaces the twist knob found on the RAM-201 series arm. This is a great option if you are using an Aqua Box and need extra security.
