The RAM-VP-TTM8LU is a 8 inch long male upper tele-pole with locking knob commonly used for RAM vehicle laptop mount systems.

Upper Tele-Pole Description: 
The RAM upper Tele-Pole, 8" male pole, contains a swing arm connection point that will attach directly to any double swing arm system with 1.5" Socket. The male post is 8" long and has a diameter of 1.328". The locking knob, includes a brass 5/16"-18 thread; this allowing you to disengage the screwing of the knob. Once you have set your mount in the location you need, you can lock it in place and feel safe that your mounted device will stay right where you left it. 
Upper Tele-Pole Dimensions: 

A = 1.328'' Outside Diameter
B = 2.5'' Outside Diameter
C = 8'' Tall

NOTE: The RAM-VP-TTM8LU requires the RAM-VP-TBF9U lower Tele-pole base to complete the Tele-pole assembly.
