The RAM-B-177-UN4 is a marine grade aluminum U channel clamp base designed to mount to the lip edge of a flat surface 1.12 inches thick such as a glare shield on an airplane or car side window edge lip, short sized length arm, diamond adapter plate and universal finger gripping cradle (RAM-HOL-UN4U). The cradle will fit devices within the following dimensions: 

NOTE: The RAM-HOL-UN4U includes three sets of different sized length arms.

RAM-HOL-UN4U Cradle Height Dimensions:
Minimum Height with Top and Bottom Plates: 5.25" *
Maximum Height with Top and Bottom Plates: 6.0" *
* The top and bottom plates can be removed for larger devices.

Included U Channel Base Clamp:
RAM-B-259U powder coated marine grade aluminum u-channel clamp base. This glare shield clamp mount with clamp mounts is designed to mount to the lip edge of a flat surface up to 1.12 inches thick.
- This base will attach to flat surfaces with the following dimensions:
  Min: 4.4mm / 0.17 inches
  Max: 28.0mm / 1.12 inches
- Includes two plastic bolts that, when tightened, clamp the base to the lip surface.
- 1 inch diameter rubber ball is connected to the base.
Included Arm: RAM-B-201U-A black powder coated marine grade aluminum short sized length arm for 1 inch balls.
- Measures 1.75 inches between socket centers.
- Measures 2.4375 inches in overall total length.
- The arm allows for easy adjustment by loosening the plastic side knob, a single spring inside the arm opens the sockets, allowing the arm to pivot on the attached base accessory. This enables the arm and accessories to be positioned at various angles allowing the ultimate in position flexibility. Loosen the knob completely and the arm will disconnect from the accessories.
Included Adapter: RAM-B-238U black powder coated marine grade aluminum universal diamond plate with attached 1 inch diameter rubber ball.
- Two holes measuring 1.9 inches from center hole to center hole.
- Compatible with AMPS hole pattern. The adapter will connect to RAM cradles (RAM-HOL-xxxx series) and third party cradles with the AMPS hole pattern.
Included Cradle: RAM-HOL-UN4U plastic finger grip cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of cell phones (Blackberry, Droid, iPhones, etc.) and electronic devices such as GPS (Garmin eTrex, nuvi, etc) and MP3 players. The RAM-HOL-UN4U has four rubber coated finger placed along the side of the cradle that grips any electrical device you need to hold. The bottom of the cradle has a plate that provides additional support to the electronic device being held.

Cradle / Holders: Select a holder for Apple, cell phones, GPS systems and other electronic devices by clicking here. All are compatible with the RAM-B-177 series and attach to the RAM-B-238U diamond plate.

1 Inch Ball and Video Camera Adapters:
- 1 inch ball adapters attach to the RAM-B-201 series arm.
- RAM-B-237U 1 inch ball with 1/4"-20 aluminum stud.
- RAM-B-202AU 2.5 inch round plate with 1/4"-20 aluminum stud.

Waterproof Aqua Boxes: Waterproof Aqua Boxes with soft touch flex lens allows the touch screen of electronic devices such as iPhone or GPS devices to remain operational.
- Knock-out hole allows cables to be run through the back of the aqua box.
- The electronic device sits in the aqua box using included foam inserts. The RAM-HOL-xxxx cradle is not needed to secure the electronic device in the aqua box. Padlock not included.
- Can be mounted in the vertical or horizontal position.
- Attaches directly to the optional RAM-B-202U 2.5 inch dia. round plate.

Self Leveling Cup Holder:
Includes foam insert and 1 inch rubber ball.
RAM-B-132BU cup holder only. Attaches directly to the RAM-B-201U arm.

Screen Magnifier: The RAM-MAG-1U is a screen magnifier that is 2 inches by 4 inches with a 2x zoom. Connects between the cradle and RAM-B-238U.

Portability: The RAP-326 quick release adapter allows the cradle to be easily removed and moved to another mounting device without tools.
- Perfect for sharing electronic device between applications (i.e. motorcycle Garmin GPS device moved to automobile suction cup mount).
- Includes RAP-326FU female and RAP-326MU male adapters.
- Quick release allows the electronic device to stay attached in the cradle while quickly being disconnected from the RAM-B-238U. Cradle can then be re-attached to another mounting application that also has the RAM-B-238U.
- Requires the RAP-326MU male adapter for the second application being attached too. The RAP-326FU mates to the RAP-326MU and the RAP-326MU mates to the RAM-B-238U.
