RAM-231-1U RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Mount Base

The RAM-231-1U is a marine grade aluminum rail mount base with a 1.5 inch diameter rubber ball and large stainless steel u-bolt. Most commonly used as a rail mount base.

Base Material: Black powder coated marine grade aluminum.
Base Ball Size: C ball sized 1.5 inch diameter rubber ball.
Base Description: RAM-231-1U universal round pipe rail base with a stainless steel u-bolt and 1.5 inch diameter rubber ball. 
Hardware Included: Yes. Includes one rustproof stainless steel u-bolt, that will accommodate a rail diameter from 1.0 inch to 1.25 inch, and two nuts with plastic caps. 

Base U-Bolt Options (Not Included):
RAM-HAR-SU251 smaller stainless steel u-bolt works with a rail diameter from .75 to 1.0 inch. Works with the RAM-231-1U included nuts.

Base Alternative Options Shown Below (Not Included):

RAM-235U shown below has two stainless steel u-bolts with 1.5 inch diameter rubber ball. The RAM-235U will accommodate a rail diameter from .75 inch to 1.0 inch.

RAM-201U-B short "B" arm 2.25 inches from socket center to socket center, is available. 
RAM-201U standard length arm 4.55 inches from socket center to socket center is available.

Waterproof Aqua Boxes Shown Below (Not Included):
- Waterproof Aqua Boxes can be connected to the RAM-238 series. However, the RAM-202 series is more commonly used to connect to the waterproof aqua boxes. The waterproof aqua box has a soft touch flex lens that allows the touch screen of electronic devices to remain operational.

Security Options Shown Below (Not Included):
- RAM-KNOB5LU keyed lock shown below is available and replaces the plastic twist knob found on the RAM-201 series arm.
