Shipping insurance is provided through the shipping carrier for lost/stolen shipments. If an item is deemed lost/stolen by the shipping carrier The Mount Depot will send out a duplicate replacement order.
Depending on the shipping carrier 21 days may elapse before an item is
officially deemed lost. However, The Mount Depot will provide an advance
replacement using ground delivery if the package appears to be lost and minimize the inconvenience.
In the event that the shipping carrier finds the lost shipment and The Mount Depot
sends out a replacement the customer will be required to send back the found shipment. The Mount Depot will pay for the return shipment.
Please note that the shipping carrier will/may require the customer to fill out paperwork in order for an insurance claim to be completed by the carrier.
