The RAP-B-378-TAB16U is a 2.5 inch diameter adhesive disk base, composite arm and cradle for the following devices:
  • Google Nexus 7 WITH THICK Case, Cover or Skin

  • This cradle may fit additional tablets with the dimensions listed below:

RAP-B-378-TAB16U Includes the Following:
  • Warranty: Manufacturer's, RAM Mounts (National Products Inc.), Limited Life Time Warranty.
  • Included Base: RAP-B-378U 2.5 inch adhesive disk base with 1 inch diameter rubber ball. Put the base practically anywhere you want to keep your handheld device easy to see and always wiTHICK your reach. Designed with a very small foot print, finding a home on your dash or console is easy.
  • Included Arm: RAP-B-201U composite arm measures approximately 2.875 inches between socket center to socket center and is 3.69 inches in total length. A tightening knob on the side of the arm enables the sockets to clamp firmly to a RAM 1 inch diameter ball. When loosening the side knob, you can pivot the ball and socket connections or completely disconnect the ball from the socket.
  • Included Adapter: RAP-B-238U composite diamond shaped adapter with 2 pre-drilled holes 1.912 inches from center hole to center hole. Compatible with the AMPS hole pattern.

  • Included Holder/Cradle: RAM-HOL-TAB16U high strength plastic holder for the devices specified above.
  • Cradle Features:
1. Support cups contain open slots to accommodate for tablets of various sizes.
2. Back plate can support various size support cups.
3. Spring loaded tension provides secure support for your tablet.
4. Spring loaded cradle allows for quick release of your tablet.

  • Manufacturer's Cradle Description: The RAM-HOL-TAB16U consists of a spring loaded back plate and custom support cups. This spring loaded design makes it easy to load and unload your tablet, along with keeping it secure while on the go. Cup ends are designed to optimize the functionality of your Nexus 7, allowing access to audio jacks, usb, power, and other ports, your Nexus 7 can be used just as it was intended. 
Instructions
  • General recommendations to properly adhere the adhesive disc.
    1. Ensure that both the dashboard surface and the bottom of the Ram Mount base have been thoroughly cleaned and dried.
    2. Attach either side of adhesive to the base first, let it sit several hours to allow adhesive to thoroughly bond.
    3. Attach other side of adhesive (with base) to the dashboard surface.
    4. Let the adhesive disc sit several hours before adding socket arm components, etc. to allow the adhesive to properly bond to the dashboard surface.
