DESCRIPTION
 
The RAP-B-166-2-PD3U universal suction cup mount is a high strength composite 2.7 inch diameter locking suction cup base, plastic arm and universal electronic device top gripping cradle. The cradle (RAM-HOL-PD3U) will fit devices such as smartphones within the following dimensions:

RAP-B-166-2-PD3U Includes the Following:
  • Warranty: Manufacturer's, RAM Mounts (National Products Inc.), Limited Life Time Warranty.
  • Base: 2.7 inch locking suction cup base with 1 inch diameter rubber ball. This base has a strong hold on any smooth non-porous surface, but for best results mount the suction cup base to a glass surface.
  • Arm: RAP-B-201-1U composite arm measures approximately 2.0 inches between socket center to socket center and is 2.75 inches in total length. A tightening screw on the side of the arm enables the sockets to clamp firmly to a RAM 1 inch diameter ball. When loosening the side screw, you can pivot the ball and socket connections or completely disconnect the ball from the socket.
  • Adapter: RAP-B-238U composite universal diamond plate. Two holes measuring 1.9 inches from center to center is compatible with the AMPS hole pattern and any RAM-HOL-xxxx cradle.
  • Cradle: RAM-HOL-PD3U is a spring loaded top clamping cradle that expands top to bottom to hold electronic devices securely. Four clamp pins are supplied; these can be positioned to suit the width and shape of electronic devices such as smartphones. Below are the dimensions that the cradle will accommodate.

Optional Cradle(s): Additional cradles to secure Apple, cell phone or other GPS units can be viewed by clicking here.

Security and Portability Options: The RAP-326 quick release adapter allows the cradle to be easily removed if sharing the electronic device between applications (i.e. motorcycle to automobiles).

Screen Magnification Options: The RAM-MAG-1U is a screen magnifier that is 2 inches by 4 inches with a 2x zoom.

Optional Cup Holder Mounting Base: Optional RAM-299-3U cup holder base attaches to the suction cup base of the RAP-B-166-2U. This allows you to mount your device in the cup holder of your vehicle! Perfect for those who do not want to mount to the windshield.
