The RAP-B-121-GA63U is a composite clamp base mount assembly that will accommodate a rail or edge lip from 5/8 (.625 inch to 1.25 inches) and is commonly used in aviation applications. The assembly includes a standard sized length arm and Garmin adapter plate for the following models:

RAP-B-121-GA63U Includes the Following:

  • Color/Material: Black high strength composite.
  • Socket Ball Size: B-Ball Size = 1.0 inch Ball. Maximum suggested weight 2 lbs.
  • Clamp Base Description: RAP-B-121BU composite clamp base mount accommodates a rail or edge lip from 5/8 inch to a maximum of 1.25 inches. The 1 inch rubber ball sits at a right angle to the plane of the mount so when connected to a rail, the ball sits parallel to the rail. To mount the base, simply place the clamps around the rail or edge and then screw the large knob at the end of the threaded rod. The hand tightened clamp makes this the perfect mounting system for rental planes and unusual shaped motorbike rails. The rail does not need to be perfectly round to use this base.
  • Arm Description: RAP-B-201U composite standard length arm for 1 inch balls. The arm measures 2.875 inches between socket centers (3.6875 inches in overall length). A plastic twist knob allows you to articulate the arm in any direction.
  • Adapter Description: RAM-B-202U-GA63 consists of a 1 inch diameter rubber ball, connected to a composite custom Garmin VIRB camera adapter. The adapter attaches directly to the under-side of the camera, replacing the factory mounting bracket. Fits specified models listed above.
