The RAP-B-121-GA56U is a composite clamp base mount assembly that will accommodate a rail or edge lip from 5/8 inch to 1.25 inches (commonly used in aviation applications). The assembly includes a standard sized length arm, universal diamond plate and holder for the following models:
  • Garmin nuvi 42
  • Garmin nuvi 42LM
  • Garmin nuvi 44
  • Garmin nuvi 44LM

    RAP-B-121-GA56U Includes the Following:

    • Clamp Base Description: RAP-B-121BU composite clamp base mount accommodates a rail or edge lip from 5/8 inch to a maximum of 1.25 inches. The 1 inch rubber ball sits at a right angle to the plane of the mount so when connected to a rail, the ball sits parallel to the rail. To mount the base, simply place the clamps around the rail or edge and then screw the large knob at the end of the threaded rod. The hand tightened clamp makes this the perfect mounting system for rental planes and unusual shaped motorbike rails. The rail does not need to be perfectly round to use this base.
    • Arm Description: RAP-B-201U composite standard length arm for 1 inch balls. The arm measures 3.0 inches between socket centers (3.6875 inches in overall length). A plastic twist knob allows you to articulate the arm in any direction. 
    • Adapter Description: RAP-B-238U composite universal diamond plate with two holes measuring 1.9 inches from hole center to hole center and accommodates the AMPS hole pattern.
    • Cradle Included: Includes RAM-HOL-GA56U high strength plastic holder. Place the top of the GPS into the cradle, and then push the base into the expandable arms at the bottom of the holder. The arms will then snap into place when the GPS is completely secured in the cradle. The cradle allows all cables (not included) to stay connected while the GPS unit is in the cradle.
    • Optional Second Mounting Ball: Optional. Add the RAP-B-121BBU creating a double ball base. This 1 inch diameter ball allows a second mounting point to add additional accessories. The mounting point is located on top of the RAP-B-121BU base.
