Apple iPod Nano 3rd generation windshield suction cup mount is a marine grade aluminum mount with a locking suction cup base and RAM plastic cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, the position can be optimized to your viewing position.

Apple iPod Nano Arm Design: The RAM-B-201 marine grade aluminum dual socket arm is a 1 inch ball socket arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and 3.69 inches in total length.
