DESCRIPTION
 
The RAP-274 is a high strength composite swivel rail mount/handlebar base with a connected diamond shape plate. The diamond plate will connect to any RAM-HOL-xxxx cradle. Most commonly used as a mountain bike or road bicycle base base.

NOTE: This base is NOT RECOMMENDED for motorcycle or high vibration use.  An alternative would be the RAM-B-231 and RAM-B-149 rail mount u-bolt family of mount.

NOTE: You CAN NOT rotate the diamond plate on the base when the optional cradle is connected to the diamond plate.

RAP-274 Features:
  • Warranty: Manufacturer's, National Products Inc., life time warranty.
  • Base Material: Black high strength composite.
  • Base Description: RAP-274 high strength composite handlebar base or universal round pipe rail base. The rail 'U' Clamp will fit a circular rail with diameter from 1.0 inch to 1.1 inches and is popular for mountain and road bikes.
  • NOTE: Placing a rubber lining such as an inner tube (not included) between the rail and mount when the rail diameter is less than 1 inch.  This will help the base 'grab' the rail more securely.
  • Hardware Included: Yes. Screw and nut to secure the base is included.
  • Diamond Plate: Diamond plate  will connect to any of the RAM holders/cradles (RAM-HOL-xxxx). The diamond plate has two holes positioned 1.912 inches center to center and is compatible with the AMPS hole pattern.
  • Cradle: NOT INCLUDED. Select a holder for Apple, cell phones and GPS systems by clicking here.
  • Quick Release: NOT INCLUDED. RAM offers a part shown below to adapt the RAP-274-1U to a standard RAM ball and socket mounting system RAP-274-1BU which is ideal for taking your mounted device from your bicycle to another vehicle. The RAM-274-1U will adapt to any cradle that contains a diamond hole pattern.
