The RAM-VB-SW1-89 is the standard tele-pole and swing arm for RAM-VB vehicle laptop mounts. This kit is designed to connect directly to any of the NON WELDED RAM Vehicle Laptop Mount Bases. Connected to the top of the tele-post is a double swing arm system which includes two 6 inch arms joined with a hand adjustable knob. The arms allow easy movement and positioning of the RAM-202 mounting plate connected at the end of the swing arm socket. Any RAM compatible device can be mounted to the RAM-202 (i.e., Tough Tray, Tough Tray II, etc.)

This laptop configuration provides a telescoping feature that allows a vertical height adjustment range from 12 to 18 inches (additional height ranges are available). Dual swing arms provide articulation and 12 inches of extension from the installation origin of the mounted device (additional extension is available). The patented rubber ball and socket joint provides additional adjustment as well as shock and vibration isolation.

Telescoping Pole Included: "Tele-Pole" showed assembled with bottom tele-pole RAM-VB-TBF9U and upper tele-pole RAM-VB-TTM8U (far left picture below). The tele-pole allows a height adjustment range from 12 to 18 inches. For an even more custom installation, the tele-pole may be easily cut with a hack saw to a more desired length.
