NOTE: The top of the cradle is open allowing electronic devices to be taller than the height of the cradle. The RAM side clamping cradle is designed to be used in a closed cabin environment. The side clamping cradle is only a light weight cradle and may not hold your device in a high vibration situations as found on a motorcycle. If used on a motorcycle the electronic device should be tethtered to the cradle.

• Cradle Hole Pattern: The back of the cradle has two pre-drilled holes compatible with the AMPS hole pattern (1.912 inches from center hole to center hole).
• Cradle Description: The RAM-HOL-UN3U is a large sized side clamping cradle that is designed to hold a large amount of electronic devices.
  This cradle has padded locking side clamps that close tightly on the item you want to hold. To release the clamp hold, simply press the button found at the bottom side of the cradle which will spring the clamps open. At the base of the cradle are two small support legs that move along the base edge of the cradle. The legs support the bottom of the item securely in the cradle, while allowing cable connection to the unit.
• Cradle Hardware: Includes a set of nuts and bolts to connect to the OPTIONAL RAM-B-238U diamond plate adapter.
• Optional Cradle Adapter: The optional RAM-B-238U is a diamond plate adapter with two pre-drilled holes (compatible with the AMPS hole pattern) that attaches to the back of the cradle. The RAM-B-238U has a 1 inch rubber ball that will connect to other RAM 1 inch socket accessories (i.e. RAM-B-201 series arm, etc).

• Universal Diamond Adapter Plate for RAM Cradles:
  • RAM-B-238U diamond adapter plate is the most common type of adapter used to attach to RAM cradles (RAM-HOL-xxxx). The RAM-B-238U is required to attach to any RAM 1 inch ball sized arm.

• Waterproof Aqua Box with Soft Touch Flex Lens:

  • The electronic device sits in the aqua box using included foam inserts. The RAM-HOL-xxxx cradle is not needed to secure the electronic device in the aqua box. Padlock not included.
  • Can be mounted in the vertical or horizontal position.

  • Quick release allows the electronic device to stay attached in the cradle while quickly being disconnected from the RAM-B-238U. Cradle can then be re-attached to another mounting application that also has the RAM-B-238U.
