This RAM-B-138-UN1U universal electronics holder featuring a round shaped base plate with pre-drilled holes.  NOTE: Screws must be drilled into a surface for the round base plate to be secured.  Please check other mounts available from The Mount Depot if you are looking for a suction based or adhesive based cell phone mounts.

The small side clamping cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of cell phones and electronic devices such as the iPod Mini and Nano.  This cradle has padded locking side clamps that close tightly on the item you want to hold. To release the clamp hold, simply press the button found at the bottom left side of the cradle which will spring the clamps open. At the base of the cradle are two small supports to hold the bottom of the item securely in the cradle. 
The side clamping cradle is designed to be used in a closed cabin environment. The side clamping cradle is only a light weight cradle and may not hold your device in a high vibration situations as found on a motorcycle.

The RAM-B-138-UN1U includes the RAM-HOL-UN1U cradle and RAM-B-138U. The-RAM-B-138U includes the RAM-B-238U, RAM-B-202U and the RAM-B-201U.

The RAP-339 Magnetic Base is a popular option that allows the RAM-B-202 to hold to a magnetic base plate.

The RAM-B-201U double socket arm has a socket at either end to allow a 1 inch diameter ball accessories to be connected. A tightening screw on the side of the arm enables the sockets to clamp firmly to a RAM 1 inch diameter ball. When loosening the side screw, a single spring inside the arm opens the sockets allowing you to pivot the ball and socket connection or completely disconnect the ball from the socket. The arm length is 3.0 inches when measured from socket center to socket center. The total length of the arm is 3.69 inches.

The RAM-B-238U has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected to the 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch diamond plate. The diamond plate has two holes positioned 1.9 inches from center to center. The hole pattern found on the diamond plate will connect to a large variety of third party cradles/holders and RAM plastic cradles/holders (RAM-HOL-xxxx) including those with the industry standard AMPS hole pattern.

Side Clamp Depth: 1.13 in
Cradle Height: 3.62 in
NOTE: The top of the cradle is open allowing electronic devices to be taller than the height of the cradle.
