The RAM-B-138-AP6U is a flat surface marine grade aluminum mount that has a 2.5 inch diameter flat surface base with pre-drilled holes, standard sized arm, universal diamond adapter plate with holder for the following device(s):
  • Apple iPhone 3G/3GS (Generation 2 Only)
NOTE: This cradle WILL NOT FIT 1st generation Apple iPhone models.

RAM-B-138-AP6U Includes the Following:

  • Color/Material: Black power coated marine grade aluminum. Chrome is also available.
  • Socket Ball Size: B-Ball Size = 1.0 inch ball. Max Weight 5 lbs.

  • Base: RAM-B-202U 2.5 inch diameter base with pre-drilled holes and 1 inch diameter rubber ball. The pre-drilled holes accommodate the AMPS hole pattern. Mounting hardware is NOT INCLUDED.
  • Arm: RAM-B-201U standard length arm for 1 inch balls. The arm measures 2.875 inches between socket centers (3.6875 inches in overall length). A plastic twist knob allows you to articulate the arm in any direction.
    • A shorter arm RAM-B-201U-A, 1.75 inches from socket center to socket center, is available. Please see RAM-B-138U-A for the complete assembly.
    • A longer arm RAM-B-201U-C, 5.25 inches from socket center to socket center is available. Please see RAM-B-138U-C for the complete assembly.
    • NOTE: The holder is not included in either the RAM-B-138U-A or RAM-B-138U-C.
  • Adapter: RAM-B-238U black marine grade aluminum universal diamond plate with two holes measuring 1.9 inches from hole center to hole center will accommodate the AMPS hole pattern.This plate includes a 1 inch diameter rubber ball.
  • Holder/Cradle: RAM-HOL-AP6U high strength plastic holder for the 2nd generation Apple iPhone 3G/3GS. Place the top of the Apple iPhone into the cradle, and then push the base into the expandable arms at the bottom of the holder. The arms will then snap into place when the iPhone is completely secured in the cradle. The cradle allows all cables (not included) to stay connected while the iPhone unit is in the cradle. Hardware to attach the holder/cradle to the RAM-B-238U is included.

RAM-B-201U Detailed Description: Black powder coated marine grade aluminum arm allows a 1 inch diameter ball accessory to be connected at either end. A tightening knob on the side of the arm enables the sockets to clamp firmly to the attached accessories. The arm allows for easy adjustment by loosening the side knob, a single spring inside the arm opens the sockets, allowing the arm to pivot on the attached accessory. This enables the arm and accessories to be positioned at various angles allowing the ultimate in position flexibility. Loosen the knob completely and the arm will disconnect from the accessories.
