RAM-B-131 seat rail mount base is a thin rail to mount either
a 0.5 inch or 0.25 inch NPT threaded pipe. The base includes two rail
connecting bolts to mount to the exiting seat rails in the aircraft. This mount is designed
to be a universal mounting solution for both RAM and non-RAM designed
products.
To connect the RAM-B-131 to any electronic device such as any Apple product, cell phone or GPS system the RAM-B-201U arm and RAM-B-238U universal diamond plate is required. In addition a RAM plastic holder/cradle (RAM-HOL-xxxx) will be required to secure the electronic device. Information regarding the optional RAM-B-201U and RAM-B-238U is shown below.

RAM-B-238U:
The universal diamond plate is the RAM-B-238U powder coated marine grade aluminum
universal plate. This plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball
connected to the 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch diamond plate. The diamond plate
has two holes positioned 1.9 inches from center to center. The
hole pattern found on the diamond plate will connect to a large variety
of third party cradles and mounts including RAM plastic holders/cradles
(RAM-HOL-xxxx) and those with the industry standard AMPS hole pattern.
RAM-B-201U: The double socket arm for 1 inch balls is the standard 3.0 inch
double socket arm. The RAM-B-201U has a socket at either end to allow a
1 inch diameter ball accessories to be connected. A tightening screw on
the side of the arm enables the sockets to clamp firmly to a RAM 1 inch
diameter ball. When loosening the side screw, a single spring inside
the arm opens the sockets allowing you to pivot the ball and socket
connection or completely disconnect the ball from the socket. The arm
length is 3.0 inches when measured from socket center to socket center.
The total length of the arm is 3.69 inches.
