The RAM-109V-3-AP8U is a swing arm style mount that consists of a vertical mounting base, 6 inch long straight swing arm, 2.5 inch diameter mounting plate and cradle for the specified devices below. The pivoting point at the end of the swing arm and allows 360 degrees of rotation.

This mount is designed to hold the following Apple iPads and HP TouchPads (WITHOUT a bumper cover, case or skin):
  • Apple iPad 1st Generation
  • Apple iPad 2
  • Apple ipad 3 / iPad HD
  • HP TouchPad 1st Generation

    RAM-109V-3-AP8U Features:

    • The RAM-109V-3-AP8U includes the RAM-109V-3U vertical swing arm mount.
      
    • RAM-109V-3U Description: Consisting of a single swing arm mount with 1.5 inch socket, 6 inch long straight swing arm that is mounted on a vertical surface base. The connection between the swing arm and the base is a bolt pivot point. The bolt pivoting point allows a complete 360 degree rotation and the ball and socket system allows a 180 degree vertical pivot with a 360 degree rotation.
    • Base Plate Included: RAM-109V-B shown below is a marine grade aluminum vertical base with 4 pre-drilled mounting holes. The connection between the swing and the base is a bolt pivot point. Mounting hardware is NOT included.
        

  • Arm Description: The single swing arm mount consists of a 6 inch long straight swing arm mounted on vertical surface mounting base. At the free end of the swing arm mount is a open 1.5 inch diameter socket. The open socket connects to the RAM-202U mounting plate.
  • Mounting Plate Description: 2.5 inch diameter marine grade aluminum mounting plate with 1.5 inch C sized ball. The mounting plate has pre-drilled holes and is compatible with the AMPS hole pattern.
  • Cradle: Included RAM-HOL-AP8U high strength plastic holder for the devices specified above. Place the top of the device into the cradle, and then push the base into the expandable arms at the bottom of the holder. The arms will then snap into place when the device is completely secured in the cradle. The cradle allows all cables (NOT INCLUDED) to stay connected while the device unit is in the cradle. Hardware to attach the holder/cradle to the RAM-B-202U is included.
